This initiative —KoolPool — would have remained a brainchild had it not been for an entrepreneur and a handful of people who toiled hard day in and day out to get the system functional. Even with the minimal resources, that we had initially, the initiative has been taken off successfully in the sprawling metropolis of Mumbai. It is now scheduled to take over a different city. KoolPool has applied for a patent for its unique SMS system. This would enable us in introducing carpooling in one city after another. And later to developing or developed countries, facing similar traffic woes.
